Adobe Flash Player 32.0.0.371 – latest version without lockout/timebomb

In 2020, Adobe has decommissioned its Flash Player old versions archive and announced that starting on January 12th, 2021, all Flash Player plugins after an unspecified version would refuse to run any Flash content inside a web browser, locking off a lot of outdated websites and historical digital art. Later, it was found out that the latest version without said lockout was 32.0.0.371, provided in this archive for Windows, macOS and Linux. The versions suffixed with “pep” are PPAPI (WebKit and Blink), the ones with “ax” are ActiveX (Trident and EdgeHTML) and the ones without suffix are NPAPI (Gecko and Goanna). One can theoretically stay safe using Flash by exerting good judgment and setting one’s browser up to enable click-to-run. Be wise and enjoy the ride.

For a modern web browser that still supports the Flash plugin, I recommend Waterfox Classic, a fork of Firefox 56.

Subject: It does work!

I used this to not only use Flash content on my older Windows XP computers again, but some of my older games for some reason require Adobe Flash for some features. Unsure as to why that is, but this helped me.

Subject: It works!!! Can't believe It!!

It really works. To make flash work again remove all prevously installed flash player. They are armed with the time bomb that lend you to the Adobe flash death page. So after uninstalling the previous Adobe flash, install this one and please reboot your device, your laptop or pc. Just restarting the browser may not work. You'd need to reboot pc then restart your browser to make it work.

a very good native simulator developed for the modern browser in Rust and Web Assembly and almost near to fully working

you can install it as extension or just import the javascript file if you are a developer
Note about those who still use the original flash player plugin, USE ONLY THE VERSION 32.0.0.371 as the next versions have a time bomb so you won't be able to use them.

Subject: Essential Program

When Adobe decided that not only Flash had to be replaced, but purged from the entire internet and browsers, i almost lost a ton of historical, nostalgic and profissional content who existed in my flash files collection, but thanks to this old archived version, i can still run flash files normally. I make use this version alongside the Pale Moon browser and i never encontered any problems whatsoever (except for flash files that used online and/or external resources, these ones i fear are really lost nowadays).

You’ll need to uninstall any version with the lockout and then install the right type of this version for your browser’s engine: NPAPI for Gecko/Goanna (Firefox and derivatives), PPAPI for WebKit/Blink (Safari and derivatives – this includes Chrome), or ActiveX for Trident/EdgeHTML (Internet Explorer and derivatives). Besides Flash, you will also need to have a browser that will accept to run Flash Player content – as of 2022, the latest version of all major web browsers will refuse to run any Flash content. You’ll either have to install an older version of a popular web browser or an obscure browser that still supports Flash Player, such as Waterfox Classic (use the NPAPI version of Flash for this one).

1. Uninstall any version of Flash Player (Should be findable in System32 or SysWOW64)

2. Find a old browser, or use pale moon. https://www.palemoon.org

3. If you want to, you don't need a browser, you can use just the player to run SWF files. https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/32/flashplayer_32_sa.exe

Subject: hello I saw that someone was confused on how to uninstall their previous installation, its actually very easy.

all you have to do is go to the adobe "flash uninstaller" page and then there will be a download link https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller

then, run the uninstaller

I downloaded the 64bit launcher for Windows.
I ran the 64bit launcher for Windows.

Flash still doesn't work on my browser, and I don't know where it downloaded it, so I don't know how to take it off.

What am I supposed to do?
